We are very fortunate to have Martin Hawes join GrownUps as a financial columnist.
Martin is an Authorised Financial Adviser based in Queenstown. He has written over 20 books (Titles include Family Trusts and 20 Good Summers) and writes on finance for newspapers and magazines. Martin is also a popular speaker at seminars and conferences.
He has recently joined Summer KiwiSaver (www.summer.co.nz) as the Chair of the Investment Committee. His role with Summer KiwiSaver is to consider the state of the markets and to communicate the views of the Committee to Summer KiwiSaver members with regular articles. Summer KiwiSaver is managed by Forsyth Barr. Martin also has non-executive directorships: he sits on the Boards of Retirement Income Group and Whai Rawa.
