After a number of years of few new introductions of patio type roses in the New Zealand market, it is pleasing to see some new varieties coming on line.
One such variety we’re featuring this month is ‘Waterlily’ which features delicate blooms of porcelain to creamy peach of classic form. There is a moderate perfume to the blooms which are produced in large clusters. Reaching 45cm in height, ‘Waterlily’ is very healthy with semi-glossy, medium green foliage
Bred by Brad Jalbert of Canada who is more known for breeding bush roses, this is a welcome addition to the range of patio type roses in New Zealand.
