Rich chocolate glaze icing

Top any baked treat off beautifully with this wonderfully rich and delicious glaze.

  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 150g good quality dark chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon golden syrup
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 45g unsalted butter

Method:

Place all ingredients in a saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate has melted and the ingredients are well combined, smooth and glossy.

Pour the glaze over the top of the cake.
