Fun Fact #1

In ancient Greece, rocks about 43ml long and 105gm in weight were used as slingshot ammunition. Archaeologists discovered some of these rocks in Athens, Greece and dated them as being from the 4th century BC. Interestingly, the missiles were found to be inscribed with "Dexai", meaning "Catch!" or "Take That!".

Fun Fact #2

A group of climbers found a piano on Britain's highest mountain. Volunteers clearing stones from the 4,418ft (1340m) peak were astonished when they discovered the musical instrument on Ben Nevis. An appeal has now been launched to find out how and why the piano came to be within 200 metres of the top of the mountain.
