We had our first dinner at Siam Thai Fusion on Friday night, 7 of us were able to get together – thanks to Sarah, Laureen, Barbara, Derek, Kat and John (and myself) for a lovely evening. At this stage we’re going to meet for dinner on the first Friday of each month. Next dinner will be at Pankawalla – Indian Quisine. We’re looking forward to others being able to join us as well.
Keep in contact and if you have any ideas for get togethers, put a notice here in our group.
Sarah is looking for people who may wish to join her for the Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain’s concert at the TSB Showplace on 25th November.#1329436livee11 October 6, 2015 at 8:22 pm

Hi all members, I am going to cancel the lunch on Sunday 11th at the Ugly Duck, due to most of the members have other commitments, and I have just been invited out to lunch Sunday for white bait fritters yum! yum!#1505691destellarMemberMember since: October 18, 2015

Here’s a link for a Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain performance, for those who haven’t seen them;
They are very versatile, and a lot of fun!
Would love to go to the performance, but there’s house moving going on in the family so not sure if I’m free yet.

Are there any Hawera/Stratford/Eltham people early 50’s who would like to maybe get together sometime, but don’t get to New Plymouth too frequently?? I would enjoy someone to go fishing with perhaps or movie or swim at the local pool in Hawera? I’m open to suggestions. Perhaps someone locally needs a hand to tackle a job around the home but unable to afford the help? I’m happy to maybe offer my help??#1507098livee11 October 29, 2015 at 11:29 am

Hi feenix 69
I live in Eltham and would be happy to get together for a swim or a coffee etc. Perhaps we could travel to NP together when the club is having a dinner. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hello there Taranaki people. I just found your posts and see that they are three years old. Are you still in grownups? I’m keen to meet new people too. I will put a photo up if I find that you guys are still out there. 😀
