Supergold – So right!!!
I still remember the little ditty my mother sang to comfort me when I pestered her for lollies – with the message, that while not available just now, all the goodies will be available when affordable.
I think that was a more effective application of love than giving me lollies whenever I longed for them.
Paulinem and some others might think of it as an example of unloving, miserly austerity, but it actually turned out to be a perfect verification of your posting –
which indirectly taught me a basic economic truth long before a direct clue to it – the gift of a piggy bank.
Yes, paulinem – and did that not lead me to becoming a ” sinner in prosperity(?)” – donating only some relief (lollies?) to the poor without giving away the lot and “trusting (or not actually tempting?) the Lord” to reward me generously for that ?#1736738kai November 7, 2019 at 4:38 pm

At the 11th hour of the 11th day on the 11th month, we will remember them. Today at 11am, stop what you are doing and remember those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom.
