It’s outrageous that interviewers haven’t asked Andrew Little when he’s resigning after inappropriately using parliamentary funds to bring people into the country on “WHV” to campaign for Labour.#1631589bsoperMemberMember since: March 29, 2013

Why is it that you have plenty to say when something happens in the Government ranks but you haven’t the guts to answer questions about the terrible way “Little Andy” and his cronies treat people that are illegally brought out to N.Z. to canvass for your Labour party placed in shocking conditions hardly any food very small amount of remuneration and then they are left to fend for themselves .

I posted my toungue-in-cheek post on “MPs are paid to be in Parliament when Parliament is sitting.” purely for Hero42’s benefit as in his post #1631118 he posted:
Embattled National MP for Clutha-Southland Todd Barclay must return to Parliament if he wants to keep getting paid until December, the Taxpayers Union says.
Executive director of the Taxpayers’ Union Jordan Williams said he must.
“MPs are paid to be in Parliament when Parliament is sitting.
“If Mr Barclay says he want to continue to be an MP until the election and be paid until December, the very minimum he should be doing is turning up to Parliament when it’s called.”#1631604sir-nigel-gresleyMemberMember since: January 10, 2017

I suppose the Nats would be scared the opposition would get stuck into Todd, and he wouldn’t be able to handle it. The Police haven’t made a prosecution yet, so not guilty until proven. In the meantime shouldn’t the ‘hush’ money be given back, seeing as it didn’t seem to be hushed? 😉
I see Sir John Key has been awarded the highest Australian Order recommended by Turnbull, for leading NZ so well, during his time as Prime Minister.

Perhaps Andrew Little is in line for a Darwin Award after slagging off the guy who has more than double his rating in the preferred PM stakes.#1631614rob023 July 17, 2017 at 10:31 pm
‘I want Greens and NZ First in my Govt’ – Andrew Little.
The arrogance! My Govt???
What he really means is ‘Labour needs both The Greens and NZ First to form a government.
My govt! ?????????
And if you really need one of these parties, why would you think slagging them off is good for business?
My govt? The only reason he’s even in parliament is because the Unions put him there.
The majority of Labour caucus wanted someone else.#1631617bsoperMemberMember since: March 29, 2013

Well next thing “Little Andy” will be doing a Trump son job going overseas looking for mud to sling.

Ha ha, Oh what fun! Now Todd Barclay has been exonerated from Police prosecution. What happens now? 😉

You ask what your preferred party NZ First’s bottom lines are. Don’t you know?
So far, Winston has nine ‘bottom lines’:
Keeping the retirement age at 65
Holding binding referenda on 100 MPs in Parliament and on abolishing on Maori seats
Building a Northland rail link
Manned Pike River re-entry
1800 more police
Rebuilding the Christ Church Cathedral
Changing the Reserve Bank Act
And holding a referendum on smacking.
No doubt we will get a few more before the election.
If he is serious he will not be in any alliance as no party will agree to all of those.
But as we know from the past his bottom lines aren’t really bottom lines at all.
