OK so I am slightly doolally.I went to bed in the Kahui thread, and woke up in this one.Good on you Pearly.Thank you for organising this thread.Sanity has reclaimed me mind again.Talking about Bobbity and the Snipe missing, there are quite a few names that have gone.Wish they will pop back now and again to say hello.Keep the comments coming Freemind.I think half of them should be in the ha ha thread. They are so funny,if not sad.

Sorry if I am on the wrong thread again!!!

Hiya all again. A wee while ago I asked about shops etc in Ferry Rd Christchurch in 60s n 70s??? I am still looking for info please, if anyone has photos or newspaper pics etc of that time??? I also am interested in life in the city in the 60s. E.G. any pics of grocers stores inside or out that our Mums shopped at ,or sent us to as kiddies!!!
Fashions, transport, dances, bands etc?? I have tried all the avenues suggested .Thanks for those and I keep researching, for family not for $$$$. The cities of N.Z. have changed so much over the years, and coming back nearly need a map for to find the old places !!!
Love the site so many n varied threads!! Cheers Kai

    Cheers From Kai

Bobbity is still around and pops in from time to time, but she’s busy working on building her own website, and she’s also had a few health issues that have taken time to resolve. She’ll be back though!

    Gidday

Hey Mona, you talk about bloody doolally, well just think about me for a mo. Suddenly I see meself being talked about without me even trying to say anything. Yeah, doolally could describe poor old GeeBee. He still thinks that there is something Christian about this country when any woman can get her child murdered if it aint old neough, and poofs can even get married. Well I ask ya.

And to think you were once that dear little boy in short pants, Old Jack. Life’s just not fair at times, is it? At the rate males are coming out these days, if I was a young female I would be very careful in choosing a mate, in case he was a sham in mens trousers.
