Andrew James Little born May 7th 1965 is a New Zealand pollie and former trade union official who was elected as Leader of the NEW Zealand Labour Party on November 18th 2014. Born in New PLYMOUTH His father was devout National Party supporter He became active in the campaign against the New Zealands student Loans scheme.
PIKE RIVER.Andrew was at PIKE RIVER this morning five years after the explosion that claimed 29 lives What a difference between Andrew Little and John Key. One is remembering the terrible tragedy that is the PIKE RIVER mine and is there in person to do what he can for victims and their families. The other is lording it up on the global stage big noting himself yet again —not a thought for the misery and pain he and his government have inflicted on so many New Zealanders.

Has he got a Cabinet . Take Annie away and Kevie and the rest of the past Cabinet members are all in the back row. Andy got rid of them such as Mallard etc because he could see they would be a threat to his (leadership?)November 24, 2015 at 6:04 am #1512329

Andrew’s choices are very limited, even most from his crop of drones. would over shadow himNovember 24, 2015 at 8:00 am #1512333
Doogie, The differences between Andrew Little and John Key are glaringly obvious.I am enjoying what Andrew Little has been saying His Labour Party conference speech, his reaction to the Paris terrorist attacks, and his response to the PIKE RIVER 5th memorial day for PIKES 29.Every year it is so affecting because of the injustice and the grief.Going to work knowing that you will come home again is a basic human right, and one that many New Zealanders still can,t take for granted. Taking shortcuts with workers lives is not an option.

So do 250,000— 350,000 Kiwi expats deserve a better deal? John Key has had seven years to act in their interests.Andrew Little and Phil Goff will present their case between two committees in Canberra on Wednesday and meet Immigration Minister Peter Dutton and Opposition Labor Leader Bill Shorten.Kiwi expats rights were severely reduced by John Howards 2001 Liberal Government. What rights for Kiwi Expats who pay taxes plus?

Let’s see-So far Andrew Little has a history of standing up to the powerful in favour of the rest of us.I think that that speaks volumes!November 24, 2015 at 1:28 pm #1512423

How can you predict how Andrew Little would have handled todays problem. Collecting Fees is about par for his expertise and to spout with such arrogance is par for the writers course. So far all he has done is criticise and use the Old Labour chestnut of handouts and abuse on the Govt. which is still steadfast in its methods, unwavering in it beliefs. Labour has not even been able to find a leader to hang on to. Who needs an ex Union man running the country?November 24, 2015 at 2:13 pm #1512441
It depends what your priorities are ….if its money first give it to a financer like John Key. If people come first let a union man head the country…he’s used to speaking up for the people. I know which comes first in my bookNovember 24, 2015 at 2:32 pm #1512444
Declining living standards and working conditions Zero hour contracts the working poor struggling to survive. The breakdown of family life high rents unaffordable housing overcrowding, health issues Society is clearly divided into rich and poor Well we certainly could do with a man of principles and John Key doesn,t have those. What do you think of Radio NZ Report this morning that Housing New Zealand are referring all those wanting Emergency Housing to Citizens Advice Bureaus ?
