Oat biscuits

  • 1 tbsp spoon golden syrup
  • 1 tbsp cold water
  • 115 g butter
  • Stir in 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda (will become frothy)

Now add:

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Mix together dried and melted ingredients.
Roll into balls the size of a teaspoon.
Put onto a greased tray and squash balls.

Cook at 180 for 10 – 15 minutes or until golden.
