Introducing Jenness Reeve

Jenness is a mother of two, a grandmother of three and, like most people of her age, has been through her fair share in life, physically and emotionally.

Why does she advocate exercise in the water?

‘Twenty five years ago I suffered very badly from several forms of arthritis and there was a time when I couldn’t even use a knife and fork without great pain.

I had always played sport of all kinds and when I could do none of my land based sports I was driven into the water and have stayed there ever since.

I found my mobility returned, the pain lessened and my mood definitely improved! It also inspired me to find out as much as possible about exercise in the water and pass on that knowledge gained whenever the opportunity arose.’

Jenness did specialist training in both UK and America and says, ‘I was fortunate to learn my craft from Glenda Baum (UK) and Ruth Sova (USA), world leaders in the field of aqua exercise and therapy.’

Apart from exercise classes she has given specialised workouts for arthritis, ante/post natal, high blood pressure, heart problems, rehab after injury, sports specific training (rugby, soccer, basketball, running etc) and relaxation.
