Ingredients:
115g Butter
1 1/2 Cups Raw Sugar
1/2 Cup Wheatgerm
1 Cup Wholemeal Self Raising Flour
1 1/2 Cups Wholemeal Plain Flour
1 Cup Chopped Walnuts
2 Eggs
3/4 Cup Orange Juice
Method:
Sift flours into bowl, add any husks remaining. Add dry ingredients and walnuts, then lightly beat eggs. Melt butter into saucepan and add to mixture.
Add orange juice and combine well.
Put mixture into greased paper-lined 15cm x 28cm lamington tin.
Bake at moderate heat oven for approximatly 30 minutes.
Slice when cold.
Ice with orange flaoured icing if desired.
