Rain; it's never quite the same.
Sometimes it falls like powder
Shook from a heavenly puff
Clouds caressing skin.
Sometimes it slams shock-like
Stiff sheets of aluminium
Casting long lines
Of self doubt.
Sometimes it pelts down
Bullet like drops
Catching your breath
and diving into your pelt.
Smelling like eath worms
Scouring smoothness
Scales on a tin roof.
Wait for the rainbow.
