So you’ve resolved once and for all you’d really like to find and be with a great partner? Nothing wrong with that! However, like all resolutions, goals or wishful thinking, they tend to result in the best success when you take consistent action. If you want to find your special someone this year, then your fridge is your key to success.
How you say? Well...if you’re like most people, you regularly go to your fridge – in fact many times a day. You also walk past it. You possibly even use magnets to stick reminders to the front of your fridge and glance at what’s on the fridge. Being close to, opening, glancing at your fridge is something you consistently do. Finding and being with someone special requires some consistency and action too. Why don’t you pair the two to achieve greater success?
You see, having a resolution or goal is great. But many people struggle to achieve what they set out to do. Often it’s a series of lots of little steps that allows you to achieve the big goal. So taking little steps every day can help you achieve your goal. What is going to be important is to identify what are all the steps you need to take/work on to get you to achieve your goal. Perhaps it is in the finding of suitable people, perhaps it is in the attraction or approaching. It might be in learning to sort out who is a good match for you. It could be to learn some great skills so that you can have a fabulous relationship. Whatever steps you feel you could most work on, I recommend you write down all the little things you could do to eventually get you to your end goal. Let’s just say you decide your goal is to come across more women and to approach them more. Then you might make a list of little things you could do such as:-
Now my strong recommendation is to put your list on your fridge – use a magnet to attach it to the front of the fridge where you’ll see it every day. Then ask yourself the question when you see your list. “What am I doing today to get me closer to my end goals of coming across more women and approaching them?” If you can answer in the positive, great, you’re on the right track. All these little steps daily will help you to reach your goal. If you are ignoring your list, then maybe, take it off the front of the fridge and stick it onto a common object or two in your fridge. Milk is always a good option. When you start ignoring your list, it’s time to move it to another place. A mirror is always another good option! Your list should leap out at you and remind you to do something. Even if it’s one small thing per day, it’s a step and it’s time to congratulate yourself. Well done.
So remember, decide what you want to specifically achieve, write a list of all the steps you could take to get to your end goal, then place your list in a prominent position, like the front of your fridge. Then ensure you take action, everyday, using your list as a guide.
