Regular Columnists on GrownUps
Recently we’ve been getting a number of Grownups readers coming in and training on Bodywall. Last week one asked me “With Bodywall being so effective for our age group with all the sore knee joints hips and weight problems we face, why haven’t you written a piece telling Grownups readers more about Bodywall”. Well time and other commitments are a couple of reasons I could give. Also being a bit embarrassed to promote my own technology is another, but as she said, “people really need to know about this you need to tell them because it works”. So here it is.
Bodywall is a high performance rehabilitation technology that just happens to be remarkably effective as a fitness training tool. Bodywall’s suitable for all ages and fitness levels, it’s low impact, yet can provide a challenging aerobic strength workout for anyone no matter how fit you are.
Developed over nearly a decade with input from two of New Zealand’s leading Universities, Bodywall is fun, fast, and incredibly effective fitness training.
Bodywall is so powerful that just one hour, once a week will improve your overall fitness and flexibility, plus it can rapidly help you to regain control of your weight, build muscle, and sort out those sore joints as you burn off those pot bellies.
One hour, once a week is all you need. Yet it can also be so gentle that it’s effective for a wide range of health disorders. Over several years of trials Bodywall has also proven wonderfully effective with children with Cerebral Palsy, for Opera singers, World Champion Kickboxers, and even whole netball teams.
A Kiwi invention Bodywall is a globally patented technology that has featured in stories both in print and on TV networks in over 160 countries. Top athletes have used it for years. Bodywall is now available to the public at three sites in Auckland.
We are launching a National Franchise network and already there’s one in the west, central city and the North Shore, with sites opening very soon in other regional centres.
The above photographs are from a 20 minute rehabilitation trial performed on Mrs Edna Mc Culloch aged 91 at AUT on the 25/11/07. Mrs Mc Culloch had been injured in a fall 2 years prior and had been restricted to walking with a frame. She left free standing and without requiring the assistance of the walking frame to walk. “This is the first time that I have had my hands above my head for a long while. I felt a sense of standing taller than had for many years.” Edna McCulloch.
