What’s involved?

  • A comprehensive pre-test of memory taking about an hour with a researcher.
  • This will be held in two locations:  Saturday, July 21st. University of Canterbury.
  • Saturday, July 28th. University of  Auckland.
  • A commitment to participate in a fun-to-do memory training programme for seven weeks, to be completed at home.  You’ll receive two training sessions a week delivered directly to your computer. You will spend about two hours a week completing the training.
  • Keeping a record of how much time has been spent each week on the exercises.
  • At the conclusion of the process, a post-test of approximately one hour with a researcher. September 15th in Christchurch. September 22nd  in Auckland.

What’s in it for me?

  • Being one of the first to sample a research-based set of memory training materials.
  • The opportunity to improve your memory skills for confidence, productivity and quality of life in later years.
  • Free online access to the course book, “Seven Second Memory” (if you prefer, hard copies are available for purchase at a reduced price).
  • Knowing you are assisting in research to prevent memory loss in later years.
