My life as it was came to a sudden halt with the Christchurch Feb quake (where I was born & bred) . I went to live in Canada for 6mths, I'm currently living with family in Wgtn & about to embark on 6mths house sitting in Picton. I am in limbo waiting for my house to be fixed but I am determined to use this time to explore new avenues of life. I was so busy prior to last Feb, working at my church & involved in its activities. Writing is my passion & I did manage to fit in creative writing courses & weekends. I am looking forward to inspiration from the beautiful Marlborough Sounds (and taking visiting friends to the vineyards) I have a gorgeous golden retriever & we will take long walks together. I have been on the occasional 3 day tramp, my ambition is to walk the Milford Track one day. I enjoy photography (would love to paint). I have read a lot of books in the past 18mths, there are so many to read & so little time. I am a widow with 4 adult children & 8 energetic grandchildren, they have all lived overseas (some still are) & so I've been fortunate to spend time exploring other countries.
I suppose it can be said I am a dreamer but that is what gets me through. I have been writing an occasional blog on happyzine.co.nz.
