Like everyone I had dreams: dreams of ambition, success, and freedom. Unfortunately my dreams turned sour during one of my wild trips around the world. This left me desperate for the things and the people I held so dear. I began to feel dominated by guilt for leaving my husband and my darling Mimi a small “foxy “terrier behind (I did pre-cooked all meals for them).

In the midst of this kaleidoscope of fear and uncertainty I began to believe that I could not do this all on my own. It simply wasn’t possible. Well, at least that’s what I said to my boss David Russell. Before long, he had assured me that everything was going smooth at Consumers’ Institute and that this was my chance to embark upon a very sacred journey.

Out of my moments of despair and uncertainty came the moment of empowerment. This is where it all started! Suddenly it dawned on me that there were people out there just like me; roaming the world without a sole to confide in or share the experience with. So I made a sacred vow to one day create my own company. And I've done just that! At the age of 66! My very own 50 Plus Travel Limited.

My first all-inclusive fully escorted Russia river cruise is in June this year, followed by the river cruise to Ukraine in August.
So strap on your life jacket, grab a loved one or two and board the ship of endless possibility as we embark upon an unforgettable journey of a lifetime.
