Hi Lynda and welcome to discussions. Friends of mine go to Operatunity in Greymouth, but I am unable to go because of work. They really enjoy it and hopefully I may be able to attend a show at some stage. It certainly sounds a good deal with lunch included.

Just to recap on operatunity, I went to the Xmas show in Greymouth and it was wonderful...great talent and some very funny sketches. They are coming for 4 shows next year, so I'll try to get to one or two at least.

Hi All
just joined and am having great fun seeing who's who and what you are all saying.
Operatunity comes to Napier reasonably regular - haven't managed to get to a show as I work full time but have heard that they are great.

I wonder if Grown Ups know about Operatunity? [www.operatunity.co.nz] who have monthly, daytime concerts at various venues up and down New Zealand.
They are by no means just opera, in fact they are mostly light music, songs from the shows, the forties, musicals etc. All delivered with a great deal of humour.
For $22 you get a concert (and singalong) and lunch. If you buy several tickets for the year, the price comes down to $20.
I've been going for a couple of years now and I have a great time.
