Your offer to carry my cases
From N. Z. to various places
Would be very good
If only I could
Hide you without any traces
I'm already taking friend Ocker
But he will be hid in a locker
And for that lovely Loyal it
Would be in the toilet
On the plane, it would be a real shocker
For tis I am sorry, I'm told
You'll be travelling down in the hold
And my dear Valsi, um
She'll be on calcium
Because she is feeling the cold
I don't go until May 3rd
On that date I'll be flying like a bird
Across the Pacific
How really terrific
The flight time is really absurd
It's 25 hours I am going
And that's just the flight in the Boeing
And then I'll go far
2 hours in the car
With my nephew, and we will be crowing!

It's great to hear all your news
And I know I am going to lose
The race for your case
From place to place
Maybe I could shine up your shoes???
For now I will just have to dream
Of places I never have been
Nor likely to either ...
I'm all in a mither
Cause here is where I've only seen.
I'm really quite happy you know
From these shores never to go
I'm a Kiwi at heart
And I never will part
With the sun and the sea and the snow ...
Looking forward to when you come back
Your limericks will put us on track
Once again when we hear
Of lands far and near
That you've been to -we'll give you some flack!!

I guess I'll just travel in dreams
I do that quite often in reams
For in my sleep
I can travel cheap
And I do through many regimes.
At night when my tired eyelids close
In my head I much travel compose
I've sailed and I've flown
With friends or alone
Yes, I travel far when I dose.

Whats this Janda...in the toilet???
that part might just spoil it!!!
For our trip took 28 hours
and made us feel quite dour
25 hours in the loo might just give me the pip
On arrival one feels all of a dither
made worse by flitting hither & thither
After a few days one comes right
after that long huge haul of a flight
no longer feelin' like you've bin' socked in the gizzard
Nope, I have to ask... can I swap with Ocker?
just stash me up in that ol' locker
just drill a coupla' holes for air
so I don't go n' suffocate up there
must be room up there for an ol' rocker!
But seriously...please "do have fun"
once ya' arrive after 25 hours on ya' bum
not the sorta thing ya' do every day
so please do really enjoy your stay
we'll just wait till ya' return with more of ya' pun

A day and a night in the hold!
I think I would die of the cold
Or else I'd dispair
From the lack of fresh air
So - no trip 'til I find me some gold.
Hi catsmum I'm sorry you missed
My overseas traveller's list
But you would look cute
In a nice hostess suit
With a scarf made of silk, I insist....
Janda please do not leave me behind
cos I'm cold -- that would be quite unkind.
I could sit on your knee
cos I'm only wee ( small I mean :lol
and not all that heavy you'll find.
My mind's been on limericks all night
though these thoughts I did try to fight
Mad limerick dreams
with impossible schemes
my life are beginning to blight.

Hey, nobody's mentioned my name
I'd do anything to be in the game
I'd massage your feet
Make sure you were neat
And I wouldn't be looking for fame.
With all this to-ing and fro-ing
Janda, you'll be pleased to be going
And yes, on your own
To visit cuz Joan
Have a comfortable flight on the Boeing.
If in the U.K. you find
That limericks are still on your mind
Then find a P.C.
And send some to we
Those whom you left far behind.
When, Janda, you're so far away
Having fun on the English clay
You'll not be forgotten
For we're not that rotten
And we'll welcome you back here to play.
To glen and to Valsi and all
When they give me that last boarding call
You will be there too
You'll be joining the queue
We will all be havin' a ball...
When I get over there, if I've time
I'll be sure to drop you a line
And I'll be back soon
Before early June
With a headful of Limerick rhyme!!!
Janda, the compliments'r flying!!
(Like you will be, sat in the Boeing ...)
I'll look out me silk
And clothes of that ilk
And from me, your drinks you'll be buying !!
