Classy_C,

I think that by "Advertising" they mean Advertising as in a commercial advert people making money etc. At one stage there were one or two MML outfits trying it on through a couple of members.

As I see it you telling your mates about a bargain is a totally different thing and has been happening all the time.

If I got my fingers smacked for that I would be an unhappy chappy, for sure! eek

Mona / Kai - There is nowhere to view the Newsletter on GrownUps (yet). I'll respond to Kai privately regarding receiving the newsletter.

Classy C - Bryan is spot on (as usual).

The kind of advertising we're trying to avoid would be "Have you heard about this great new product I'm selling? You can buy it here (website) or by messaging me! Here are the benefits of my super great product!!!!!!!!"

Mentioning a local market you visited or the name and address of a cafe your group met at is absolutely fine. smile

Thank you Bryan and Dave for the clarification, thought it better to ask than just go ahead and mention something and get into trouble.

Hi Dave, tried to send friend request to Geof001 and he says he did not get it but my end shows invite sent. Similarly he says he sent request to me which i have not received - can you see any issue at your end?

Majorminor - that's odd. We've had a few emails about friend requests but in those cases the request had been sent, the member just couldn't find it immediately. In the end they were working correctly though.

In your case however it looks like something may have actually gone awry. We'll look into it in more detail. Stay tuned.

Mona - if you want to resize an image that you have downloaded you'll need to use a photo editing programme. I often use Microsoft Picture Manager (from Office) for quickly resizing images. It's pretty basic so it's easy to use.

If you have that then that will help. Email me personally if you'd like more help with that wink
