I wonder if our brighter future is to be Australia's waiting room or God's?

More than 600 people at a Kaikohe meeting have signed up to go on a database for work in Western Australia.
They packed into the small Northland town's Memorial Hall on Thursday night to hear about work prospects in the booming iron ore and gas industries across the Tasman.
The recruiting firm Reciprocus, formed by three New Zealanders who've worked in Australia, is aiming to build up a workforce willing to commute to Western Australia.
A director Douglas Foster says workers would be there for four or five week stretches, and then fly home for two or three weeks.
He says Reciprocus is hoping to recruit people with the necessary skills and then to provide people without the right skills with some training.
Mr Foster says there'll be another recruitment meeting in Ruakaka south of Whangarei on Friday night - and two more in Kaitaia next week.
----------------------------------------------
If it's the same as yesteryear they will work 12 hour shifts 7 days per week for a period of time, then flown to and from home free.
There will not be enough paper in NZ to jot down all the applicants.
Bloody great for our unemployment figures aye. At this rate us ole farts will have to be re-employed again to take up the slack.
I would suggest the whole bloody town of kaitaia will; be on the next flight out.
Cheers.
