Thanks so much WS..It is good to get 2 points of view..
now I am totally confused ,,,,but must say the red and white onions and garlic,,, we put in with a big omelette last nite, tasted awesome and from now on ,wont save the onion ,but will throw the left overs on
compost with other vege peels, and hope at last we can do some HG,s
Home grown that is ,,have to be good if garden fresh ..

I think in some cases Dally - for instance our duly elected plonkers - you'd need an entire bagful of salt...
Hey Kai! You don't need to tell everyone you keep an onion under the bed and then if everyone's shuffling round with the flu you can waltz about with a knowing smile and a clear head, tending to their miseries whilst they admire your fortitude.

And as for keeping raw onions and using them later, theyve not done me much harm over the years. Reckon that as you can see, it's given me a good head of hair and a strong beard. (not many friends though )
And 17 looks a good looking healthy speciman to us here .
