Also if she kept the place clean and tidy, didn't have loud parties etc. 
We have tenants. We'd be pleased to be shown a reference from a neighbor saying all those things above...
Previous landlords can speak to how good a payer she is, and how well she looks after the place, but to hear from a neighbor about what sort of neighbor she has been is very valuable I think.

Have been asked by a neighbour to write a character reference to help her find a new place to rent as her present abode is for sale. I have never done this before and am anxious to do my best as she deserves the best. Any help would be gratefully accepted.
