This is the time of the year when for some strange reason the lunatic fringe take to the bottle more than usual. When the drunks behind the wheel mostly arrive home safely if they are not arrested. There is an ad all very prettily pictured for a bottle of whisky.

Twenty four hour sale - Talisker 10 year $64.99 SAVE 73.01. OMG, it is normally $138.

It is interesting to watch people you know have a personality change after a couple of glasses of whatever. They can become strangers to the norm with behaviour ranging from provocative, bawdy, flirtatious, foul mouthed or just plain happy and funny. The worst is anger.

We have so many inhibitions stored away in our heads from the no noes instilled in us during our growing up years that we have suppressed and alcohol obviously makes us more daring. It is not a good time to be on the road as the workers have their breakup before Christmas.

So, be careful out there, won't you, please.

Ah Talisker, a lovely single malt whisky produced on the Isle of Skye. Interesting thing is you can't get it anywhere in Scotland outside of Skye because it is all exported around the world.

But yes I totally agree, take care on the roads, and if you aren't driving only drink in moderation.

Cheers biggrin

As a person that likes a "Couple" when the health permits and am known to be happy and generous after drinking them, I have never been able to understand why it makes some angry and aggressive. I do know however as an ex driver that booze and driving is not a mixture that any of us should indulge in!

So Yes, Take care out there this festive season!

Christmas is a time to stay safe at home and get happily drunk or even happy drunk.

If you get angry drunk, don't drink.

Have a Merry Christmas
