Good on ya CB. These tablet things are lots of fun. I like keeping up with the newspapers like Stuff.co.nz and NZ Herald when I'm watching TV.

If this is any use to you
DISH LTV model S7050 PVR
aprox, $250 available at Harvey Norman
I had one for 18 months and "lent" it to our son when we hot a half price deal from SKY. With this you can record to a hard drive (which you need to provide) and you can record to that while watching another channel . Only small problem here is there are 2 different frequencies, 1 that chan 1,2 7 and some others are on and another that chan 3 and some are on. Can;t remember them all off hand. The number of tapings you can store depends on your hard drive size Do a GOOGLE search for Dish S7050 pvr will tell you more. We found it very good,

I wonder what happened to V 21, she kept me entertained with her good info, she lost me when she went from a husband to a partner in a short time?cool

I am off to Thailand in May and will look into The iPod thing.
My question would be, if you have an up to date tablet, would you need a iPod?

The iPod is more for listening to music. Small and portable.

Tablet is more for Internet, Email, Docs, video, etc. Larger, better graphics and keyboard.

Just noticed your post 39 Wingspanner.Thank you for that.I have given up the idea of a recorder at present. The television programmes are so terrible there's little to record.I have a newer computer, so hope to Download some movies perhaps.Though I guess I'll have to comply with these new rules. Here's a question for you all.If I wanted to Download a movie, which website would I go to?mrgreenmrgreenmrgreen
