We just bought for our retirement complex a 51 inch Flat screen Panasonic TV. that hangs on wall with a Samsung Home Theatre System so we can play music DVDs and have old time movie nights with jaffas. The home theatre system gives us five speakers around the room. You really feel you are there. We are having a ' Baubles & Bubbles Melbourne Cup" afternoon for November 1st.

If I see the building swaying as I drive past, I won't call the fire brigade, Dr.L

Just the same simple wish I've had for a couple of decades now;you'd think, wouldn't you that 3 boys might somehow be able to grant their (saintly) Mum's dearest Xmas wish - but no sign of it so far..
.
.
I mean really - is a fully stocked security van so very much to ask??!

I will be getting the best Christmas present since my children were born.
My first Grandchild is due a few days before Christmas Day...nothing can top that for me.

And Christmas will never be the same again Kiwichick. For me, Christmas has always been about family; and more, it's about the children. With three grandchildren, I find it even more exciting and fun than I did when we were just parents.
And the Christmases when we can all be together are the absolute best.
So all I want for Christmas is for the family to spend it happily together.

All I want for Xmas is my two front teeth - my two front teeth - my two front teeth. All I want for Xmas is my------.
Surley it's too early. I havn't finished paying for last Xmas yet.
Still a bottle of Green ginger wine would be a nice present, then I could wish you all a merry Xmas.

I would like a thirty foot boat to go fishing on but I know that this is impossible so I will settle with seeing the look on my 10 y.o.Granddaughters face when she sees her brand new bike beside the Christmas tree and 7y.o Grandsons face when his ipod thingies (whatever they are) are unwrapped. Then I will probably get my box of Chocolates from them plus vouchers etc from other members of the family. We usually get a ring about seven o'clock asking what time are we coming over so they can open their presents, by this time we are ready and waiting for the call so we leave a few minutes later. And that is the start of a very long Christmas day.

Cameo, all I want is a set of bottom teeth, I know I will get them as I am saving my money for them.
My husband got his Christmas present today. Months ago I bought a model train engine on Trademe. This one was quite rare as they never made many in Dublo. I noticed some of our friends bidding for it at the time, but they thought it too dear. I went ahead and paid the reserve price as it was to be a gift, and would complete a set (good investment.)
Today at The Great Little Train Show, one of the guys next to our exhibition asked hubby if he bought this engine, he said," no, I thought you had."
So I gave him his present so he can take it in tomorrow and skite!

A pair of sox will do for under the tree, gaye-belle. I wonder what he has for you, though. Can't wait!!!!
If I can't have a brand new Suzuki then I guess whatever Santa brings will have to do. Looking forward to going north and sharing with the whanau at their probably groaning table. It is not just the food, as the girls are just so particular to detail and everything will be really traditional. Love Tradition.
Can't wait. A long time since I had the day with all three at the same table. You don't get used to it, do you.?

Neighbour has informed me that for Christmas she wants the latest in speakers attached to her 42 in TV. She was so taken by the sound when she heard them in action.

She is a real Country & Western fan and I am fortunate that in being deaf, the moaning, warbling does not disturb me at all. When you have heard one you've heard them all. I wonder if she will get her wish?
I have no wants as yet.
