I have a laptop that was installed with Office 2007 ( a trial version that I wasn,t aware of), when the trial expired I uninstalled that and installed Office 2010 from seniornet.
Since then my snipping tool wont work, keep getting "error- the snipping tool is not working on your computer right now.restart your computer, and then try again. if the problem persists, contact your system administrator."
I tried the snipping tool on seniornet computer and that one works
what can I do ?

Hi Larraine,
Ok, now I know what the snipping tool is for and how to use it. I gather that you have Windows 7 installed (or Vista) but which version? Because the snipping tool doesn't seem to be available in Win 7 Home Basic.
It is strange that it used to work before you changed to MS Office 2010.

Cheers, CB

Hi Larraine,
Have you found the Snipping tool yet? It might be in All Programs/Accessories/Snipping tool.

If it is there, right click on it and choose Send to > Desktop (create shortcut).

Cheers CB

Hi Larraine,
Here is something to try:
Click Sart flag > Control Panel > Go to Programs and Features > When it opens, you will see in the left column, Turn Windows Features on or off. Click on that and look for Tablet PC Optional Components. (Wait for it to open). Make sure that there is a tick in the box next to it.
