Happy feet.
Well It's time to say goodbye. Tomorrow I shall be going home to be with my friends. Before I embark on this journey I would like to say how much I appreciate the care given to me from the people of New Zealand.
When I washed up on the beach at Kapiti Island, I thought I had arrived in heaven. It did not take me long to realise that the sand I was eating was not snow. I developed a hell of a gut's ache and starting wondering where I had gone wrong. Did I confuse lattitude with Longtitude? Did i turn left instead of right? I was tired and just wanted to go to sleep.
A small human girl no taller than me came along and stroked my head and whispered, " Do not worry little friend I shall get some help." To cut a long story short, I wound up at Wellington Zoo and a lot of kind people pumped out my stomach and made me feel welcome. They fed me some wonderful fish and gave me lots of cuddles. I am looking forward to seeing my mates again to tell about my experiences in Wellington.
It is not only my feet that are happy. I am over-joyed that that people still care about other life forms on this planet. Thank you little girl for your compassion to a black and white creature.
Happy feet.
