hello sophiecat. I moved out of devonport over a year ago now!! LOL! I live just up the road from georgie. I still have grandchildren living with me, so everything I do has to be fitted into school hours - sometimes thats hard with not driving. But you never know. One day!!

Hi marianne great to see you, have often wondered how you are doing. I am pretty active, travel a lot, especially meeting gups all over the country. Walk alot and enjoy zumba classes. Have just started reading again, download books to my ipad, so can read anywhere, also started crochet again because my grandaughhter wanted a bolero. I find life is full visiting friends and family. I am 2 1/2 hours from anywhere, so drive a lot.
Kind regards

hi marianne, I found K-mart has some low cost art supplies. A small brush set for approx $5 and A5 pads of watercolour paper for about $4. For paint both whitcholls and paperplus sometimes get a small box of 12 watercolours for $13 or $15... including a small brush. Low quality stuff but excellent for beginners... and will last for quite a long while. If you tape the paper to a small board (I use a small piece of thin plywood) around the edges and cross the vert and horizontal centres, you have four paint areas ie four paintings per sheet of paper.
The big thing with this small scale is to keep it simple..not to get too fusy with detail.
