Sounds good WL. Wish we weren't so far away from you all. There is not a lot to do in ChCh at the moment we have noticed while spending so much time in there supporting family. We wish you all the best with your idea. Cheers.

I am keen on getting together with others to spend Sunday. Recently widowed Sundays can be long.

If you are into walking then grab a copy of the Councils 'Walking Group ' booklet.. The alternate Sunday at 1.30 pm is a nice friendly group with an interesting program.

We understand that the New Valley Inn Hotel is well worth a visit. Cafe Rhombus with Upshots Coffee nearby is in Station Rd although I believe Valley Inn has cafe too. A real village atmosphere.

Fiona Pears has a concert with her band at The Archery Lawn in the Botanical Gardens on Sunday the 12th of Feb.
A picnic lunch with chairs etc sounds like a great idea to enjoy this free concert .
I do not have a start time, if anyone does please could you share the details.
