Hi Dolphin,
The snail plant has seed pods very much like a green bean..in fact a visitor remarked to me what a great crop of beans I had .... they self seed readily I find them popping up in the garden everywhere....Has a very deep rooting system and once they get established very difficult to move

Pardon my ignorance...am just wondering what a snail plant looks like. I have plenty of 'mouse' plants but can't recall a 'snail plant'. Does it go under any other name?
Just curious.

Has anyone got A Himalayan lilley ,if so at what stage do you remove the seed pods. We have one that has just grown and is up to 8 feet high .Where it came from no one knows but has been suggested the birds have bought the seed in . It appeared last year but only grew about a couple of feet and then dissapeared but this year it has gone mad . It is growing in the bushland part of the garden so is sheltered by high grown trees. It has 14 pods on it. Help.
