A man came to my door from a company called 'Just Energy' claiming that they are a company using sound ecological practice (sustainable resources) , are New Zealand owned and would be able to significantly lower my power bills if I were to change to them as my power provider.
I told them that I would wish to do my own research into the matter first and so I began by googling it and found that a company by the same name has been operating in the United States and Canada where it was found to be a fraud. This might or might not be the same company. So far I have taken no action to change my power company.
I would like to know what anybody else thinks and whether you have heard of them or from them.

Not a 100% sure but think that Just Energy is a part of the Pulse Energy electricity provider.

Not long got home and turned on computer and see I had three e-mails from National Bank of New Zealand stating someone may have accessed funds illegally from my account and to rectify this could I please enter my account details in the appropriate boxes and they will make the necessary adjustments etc etc.
As I don't even have a National Bank account knew this could't be genuine so rang the Bank and was told a few other people had already received the same e-mails. I just hope there arn't too many gullible people out there with Nat. Bank accounts to fall for this.

Might not be confined to New Zealand either. I had one last year, ostensibly from Lloyds Bank in London. Got in touch with the real Lloyds Bank using a friends computer. Following their advice I sent them a copy of the e-mail that I had recieved and then deleted it from my computer.
