hi there
The only discussion on this topic seems quite old and I had a quick read, so I know there are a few of you around.
I'm moving house soon and my new house has stained glass windows with reds, blues and purples in them. I thought that a few mosaic stepping stones outside with similar colours would look great. I've found some good websites, but there seems to be some contradictory info. Some sites say that you have to work quickly once you pour the concrete into the mould, because the concrete starts to set within 20 mins. Others say that you should leave it for 20 minutes, until it starts to set before putting anything on it. some say you need to seal it when finished and others don't mention sealing at all.
SO is sealant necessary for a mosaic stepping stone?
is is best to work directly onto wet concrete or to buy an existing paver and stick the mosaic on?
I think I'll start off small by doing a number plaque for my house and work up the pavers, but any help would be great.
