Could anyone please help with some one dish recipes suitable for taking to a new Mum.
They need to be easy, inexpensive and suitable to freeze.

Thanks

Judging by the date you might not still be wanting these, but here's one i make for my kiids. I make a big one and the kids take slices to school for lunches the next day, but you can half the amount of sausage meat and make a smaller one.

Sausage Pie

2 pkts sausage meat
1 apple
1 carrot
1 onion
1 egg, or breadcrumbs, or leftover rice
seasoning, herbs of your choice
squirt of soy sauce (optional)
Sheets of pastry - flaky or short

Put all ingredients, except the sausage meat, in a food processor and grate. Add mixture to sausage meat and mix. Linie a pie or lasagna dish with pastry and put the meat mixture in it. I top mine with pastry strips and a sprinkle of cheese, but you don't have to. Bake for about 45 mins at 190.
