Russel Couts has gone a bit far dividing the world into the facbook generation or the flintstone generation in order to promote the new version ofcraft to be used in future races .
FLINTSTONES :- A call to arms . Lets withhold all support for america cup endeavours both from watching and financing just to show them how much they really need us and who got Russel there in the first place .
Who's to say that fast races won't be fixed just like one day cricket has .

Please explain this, Jolly.

I haven't followed Russell Coutt's or the America's Cup news.

What's been said?

I didn't catch all of it GG , but Russel Couts was giving a speech at what I presume was the inaugral introduction to the new type of yacht designed to be used for much faster races in the Americas cup series . The idea was to apeal to what he called the facebook generation and not to the flintstone generation . He may have said something like ' we are now in the facebook generation , not the flintsone ..." , I can't remember exactly now but I know I didn't like it

Jolly you have got it a bit wrong I think. What he said was the old style yachts were like the flinstone age while the fast catamarins were like the facebook age or comparing a model t ford to a modern formula 1 race car .
