Hi my name is janelle, I am married and have 3 children. For the last 2 months I have been trying to find a full-time job. My husband is a freezing worker an is currently in the off season and apparently won't be going back to work till december this year. I work as a hospital aide,only as a casual. We will be going on the benefit soon which affects the hrs I do at work. Unless I find a 30hr week job to be able to pay the bills. I have brought the newspapers an have been surfing the net for jobs,but nothing so far. I don't have much experiences behind me because I started a family at a young age but I've worked hard to gain some qualifications. I have cared for the elderly for 3 years and I absolutely loved my job, but no matter how hard I work it won't get me permanent work. So I have to change careers by starting over again with no experience to be able to support my family. I don't know what else I can do.

Are there any rest homes near you? These places always need staff (full time and part time) to do nurse aide work or cleaning.

I don't think you have to have any experience because they will train you on the job.
