The frame does not show the fiery hair
Wild- wind- tossed high in the air
It does not show the moving limb
When in her youth she was so slim
It can't reveal the sparkling eye
That seen once by men,
None could deny
That deep with ,a passion grew
Encased now within background of blue

CAMEO

She would be remembered for all time
Her silloutte there for everyone to see
Trapped there forever by her outline but
Did anyone know her when she was free?
The frame does not show the fiery hair
Wild- wind- tossed high in the air
It does not show the moving limb
When in her youth she was so slim
It can't reveal the sparkling eye
That seen once by men,
None could deny
That deep within, a passion grew
Encased now within background of blue.

Venus

Cast in white marble
Alone she stands
Admired by women
For her beauty
Dreamed of by man

VENUS

Cast in white marble
Alone she stands
Admired by women
For her beauty
Dreamed of by man

Larger than life
An epitome of beauty
The godess remains
No broken woman today
Dare have such dreams

No arms to hold
Pure heart of gold
And distant Gods gaze on
But in the mind of David there
Lies a secret song

"Oh ! Venus .Don't deny my youth
Take me in all innocence of truth
Make me a God of Man.
My Laurel wreath I give to you
(Ha! ha!) Reach out to me
If you can?.
Let's rake cold marble
Into life
Breath in the warm fresh air
Let's just not stand on pedestals
We have so much ,to share".biggrinredface

I dream of a lost love in a faraway land once was called Siam.
I live the memories of happy times and often wonder why: should love be so painful still I need to cry.
The night sky she gazes on is not the sky I see, were worlds apart in time and space with Gods who don't agree.
Was it love or was it lust or was the wine so good, did Jesus shake the Budda's hand as if they understood.
Perhaps one day I'll understand the why of why at all did love cross throught he boundary of heavens mighty wall.

One night we sat together staring out to sea as the sun was setting- a giant orange ball which changed the darkening ocean into a flaming pool of rainbows. She turned toward me and smiled.
If we never meet again there's one thing I know- she loved me once and that was all. I loved her also. She let me go because------.

To travel to another shore
But you loved her once
and still forever more
Love born
within heavens walls
enfolds the heart
in bonds to cover
the Universe
reflecting sunshine
within all colours of life's
embracing arms
to spread rainbows,
chains of gold
around the human soul

Like sunrise and sunset
the memory returns.......

Ah! sweet! love ,born in passion
so brief
so many ,hold fast to it's
tender leaf
that never dries in autumn's
chill relief
nor colours fade in sunshine's
scorching breath
And as the years wither
time away
They memory of sweet love
lingers on
To stay aside the loneliness
of night
relives again the dance of
love once known
to warm cold memories
in sweet delight.
