Those that I thought might join in seem to be trapped in the games forum (where they tend to write 50 word stories etc).

Maybe we should write our `normal' poetry in this forum and move the poetry, line-by-line to the other thread?

Tis the middle of winter when writers should write.

The sun has set in the early time of normal darkness. Depressed sunlight and feelings of worth weigh heavily on the screaming mind.
" Once upon a time."
A small rock cried a flood of tears and all the world was shattered by the revelation by a rock who wept an emotional torrent of repressed feelings of love lust and hate, an out-pouring of crystal clean water from eyes that did not exist.
Antartica shuddered at the thought of water which could melt a glacier.
The thirsty desert sands sighed, " At last."
The green party blamed the politicians and the God of market forces, the sucked in people said " I told you so."
It rained again so heavy was the wet the rivers cried. " Enough is enough."
God was watching and wondering as he poured another glass of emotional soothing Rum.
Do not worry little rock he whispered. Your tears shall not be in vain.

Help me drink this bottle then we'll play another game.
