All day within the dreary fence
The timber gate on hinges,creak
The Blackbird digs bone-less worms
The Rat ,behind the wood-pole shrieks
The Hawk flies above tells of how ,the Deer
In black forests dence, can look above
To Open skies ,unhindered, by chain ,to fence.
Old Ladies halter in their steps ,
Cast me their eye of ignorance
"Don't! Don't Bark,lest I fail my feet
And die of sudden fright!" they weep.
The Sparrow, singing on the Roof
The Cat, climbing the pole .aloof
"I can escape run clear this boring plot"
The grin of teeth ,the whisker twitch
Tears my captured heart ..to bits.

"My life is tied ,I long to run
amongst pine needles and tallest gum.
To chase the Hare..To smell the Wind
Taste Raindrops ,dripping from my chin.
Stretch my hocks to full extent
Learn where, the melted snow went
Why do fallen trees rot?
What worm glows on bank
As evening blankets ,drop?"

His Anger shows his discontent
As trapped rivers break,
The Earth is Bent
To accommodate an even flow
The natural order of where to go.

The Hunter.... imprisoned by chain -cage
Dies..
within an open grave
Yet !passers-by
Bear Witness well
The twisting torture of his Hell

Possessed,decline of spirit
then slow decay
Until he dies
and fades away.

Come on all you folk..stir you ink-wells ..dip in the quill and write us all a poem ... don't be lazy ...leave us line or 2 for posterity...

Brighten up the boards ...you are all asleep...Wakey Wakey! rise and shine... come on folks write us a line.

"Everyone's A Poet
They just don't know-it
Until they show-it".biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinlollol
