I have just been to Black Betty which is in what was once The MADRAS STREET BOOKSTORE. opp.CPIT.. We are definitely dining there early tomorrow so we can be home for Masterchef.NZ.I went in this afternoon and liked its ambience. Lovely food cabinet and a mix of tables. Cheers,

The Akaroa trip sounds good to us. We have not been on the mail run so that would be interesting.
Cheers

At this stage I am quite interested in Akaroa but don't get back from Oz till about 12th Sept so am a bit hesitant about saying a definite yes.
The mail run sounds good, did the cream run in the Bay of Islands about 48 years ago. Don't know if they still do one up there or not.
Had a funny thing happen to me on Saturday night. Had been at Amberley but had been really crook with my tum so decided not to stay over. Got down the road by the Railway Hotel and realised I wouldn't make it back to town so did a u turn to go back and do what I had to do. Didn't see a police car coming out of a side road. They thought I was doing a turn to avoid them so chased me and stopped me. (I had known they were doing a few checks but hadn't expected to be involved!) As it turned out, it was one of Craig's colleagues who burst out laughing (probably from embarrassment) when I explained why. Thank goodness it wasn't the sgt - I've met him but not sure about his sense of humor.

On the bright side, Laura was the Player of the Day. Very proud we were, one of only two girls in the team.

Interested in Akaroa, but at this stage am waiting for word from the hospital regarding having to have an out patient op on my foot. Not sure how far down the list I am. Could well be over by then. Surely must be.
A bit late flash, but hope you had a wonderful day.
Hi floosie, The last thing you would want,, is to be stopped. Time was of the essence, at that stage, I would say??? Wont ask if you made it. (lol) !?!?!? ????

DRL our trip will depend on the outcome of Alz appointment at the hospital.
If it is the same as he had before it will just be day surgery so here's hoping
