On a beautiful morning in Sydenham 46 walkers joined us this morning for Sydenhams Hidden Gems inc. King Edward Drinking Fountain.St Nicolas Russian Orthodox Church and Max Merritts & his Meteors Railway Hall as well as Sydenhams Primary School Bell which we loudly rang. Later 12 went to Underground Coffee and a crowd went to Lucianos. and some to Just Desserts. Next weeks walk is in Richmond but more on that later.

Canterbury Grownups We SIX Gups Gregarious Gallivanters had an incredible relaxing holiday together this past week. Lots of Laughs So much so I think it may be worth considering another week Bitofado together in 2013 and possibly a two - three day Banks Peninsula one Later in 2012. I have a couple of South Island Centres in mind in the South & North....Hmm...

Well, certainly sounds like you all had a great time - well done!!!!
Fiona Pears was playing here a couple of weeks ago. Would have loved to see her again, but was on the other side of the Coromandel at 7 pm. Such a shame it wasn't on in the daytime. I don't DO the road in the dark. Brought back memories of my time in Christchurch, really enjoyed her concert. Maybe next time she will be here in Whitianga.
Have sent my form and deposit away for Norfolk Island, so something else to look forward to
Take care all!

Dr L and Desi, was talking to Brenda today and Keith has also registered and paid his deposit for Norfolk island - great, eh. So that's our whole group, except for Alison and Gordon plus the rest of the Gups. Didn't ask if there were any "outsiders" registered.

Finally got my computer up and running. Could not find my emails but finally found them in spam. I have no idea how they are getting into there.
Thanks DrL & Desi for organising out trip. A lot of laughs and plenty of R&R.
Daffy & Colin you were great comapny to be with. A holiday thouroughly enjoyed by all.
Perhaps my hurrying along was a good idea as we did not strike the cattle truck. We arrived home at 1.30 and upacked and the washing on the line by 2.30. My son & daugher-in-law are staying with us while their house gets repaired so came home to guests in our house.
Time for a game of Rummikub and then off to bed.
Cheers
