Onyx7 Thanks for those wonderful shots of our beautiful city. Desi & I enjoyed another great walk this morning with 49 Walkers my 1420th walk. In 4 weeks time we celebrate 12 years that I have run theseHeritage walks in CHRISTCHURCH and the numbers participating are expected to exceed 71,000 FOR the 1424 WALKS. Thats a pretty good average.!
I have been deeply humbled this week to hear that several Heritage organisations IN CHRISTCHURCH have nominated me for the Prestigious Inaugural CHRISTCHURCH HERITAGE AWARDS. of Christchurch Heritage Trust. The judges on this Trust alone are some of New Zealands Finest Heritage Experts.and to even be nominated is a deeply humbling experience. To be selected as a finalist would be Icing on my Cake after 12 years. Also I will hear on September 10th if I have been successful in the SHIRLEY-PAPANUI COMMUNITY BOARD/REHUA MARAE HERITAGE AWARDS.Humbly Dr Livingstone.

Sorry Kai, the photo will have to wait until I go home on Monday when Onyx is going to talk me through photobucket. Snow to low levels predicted today, I am hunkered down at Dr L's. I can see my mother's apartment from here, got to keep an eye on her, make sure she isn't entertaining strange men! You never know what these nonegarians get up to when we are not looking!
