you say there is heaps of the stuff there, just get as much as you can as big a drum as you can to fill and put as much as you can in the compost then dig the rest that you can in the garden.
I fill a 200litre drum with it then top up with water, I go 4 of them on the go all the time, then just tip it onto my veges. It is a bit strong and I have burnt a few plants with it so now just give it a squirt with the hose to know the concentrated stuff off the leaves. It will take a few weeks to break down but sometimes it might be too strong to break down so when you take some of the concentrated liquid out I will just top it up with more water and give it another week or two.
I also put heaps in my compost but don't have enough space in my garden for digging it in directly.

Thank you for info O.J. wondered to about adding something else to the liquid brew to hasten it along ? I did manage to get quite a lot but landed flat on my nose clambering up the bank with it,had stepped on a piece of slippery kelp leftover from some one elses stock pile,
no damage done but a bruised ego as when I looked up had an audience,
a car had stopped and watching my progress, hopefully they were going to offer assistance if all was not O.K.

I dunno what else will speed it up. I think iffin you don't make it as strong as I do it may go a lot quicker cos it seems to disolve more than actually break down. In fact, I have had some wait for months in a drum of water and still seem to be half full of seaweed and drums with less seaweed and more water gone in a few weeks.

Just at present there is heaps of seaweed washed ashore and am going to collect some this afternoon what is the best way to use it ??would you add it to the compost bin, bury it in the garden or make a liquid solution by immersing it in a large bucket of water and letting it break down, then watering plants with the solution
would imagine you would have to dilute before using
