"Serendipity" means making pleasant discoveries by accident " Serendipity" Sippers are a group of Christchurch people who enjoy the art of good conversation, the ambience, service, food & company of each other at selected cafes around Christchurch & sometimes Canterbury.

We are looking forward to an exchange of ideas and information on Cafes across the paradise we call Christchurch and especially too new ones you have just sampled or heard of. Carpe Diem.biggrinbiggrin

OH DL you are putting on so much info that affects my tastebuds ( Can smell the Coffee)and the waistline lol but all the info is great.

Christchurch surely sounds like it has heaps of interesting Places to Walk with friends on Gups etc, and also to sample the wares..and The Cafe Culture is alive and well ..

Hope you enjoy the serene places

Cheers Kai

We were supposed to meet Winelover there for a quick cuppa on our way to the pot luck, but I was running so late we didn't make it. We have heard good reports...might be worth a try.

At short notice I met Silverfern and her sister around the corner from there accomodation this morning at Grenadier Cafe & Bar 271 Madras St.at 10am We talked about what Gups had done for our lives and our common interest in Family History.
The coffee was OK. It is a pleasant cafe which could be very noisy but as there wernt many in at 10am OK. too.On a 1 2 10 a four.biggrin

I am updating a resource list of 110 cafes I did last year by placing the updated list into suburbs so when someone asks for ie a cafe in Linwood I can give them several in a radius of a km or two. Any new ones anyone? Dr. L.biggrin
