Most Christmas puppies are wanted and prepared for, at least those I have talked to...

I'm interested in learning what people have learnt in their puppy class... is it just full on play, or is there a bit of teaching of dog handling skills?

We attended a puppy class at the local vet's. It was very good for both Charlie ( bichon friese ) and I as I had not owned a dog before. They socialise with other puppies and people and you are shown the basic command rules, how to familiarise you with touching paws, ears and teeth, which when I cut his nails now I am so glad he learnt to be handled at a puppy stage as he is so good and just sits there. You are taught what to feed them, when to reward them and generally enjoy your new family member! So please go along and learn with your puppy how to be a happy well behaved teamrazz Sylvia
