Help someone??

a good few Christmases ago, I used to make a red salad for Christmas lunch.
The ingredients were finely sliced red cabbage , halved baby beetroot (canned) sliced red onions...but I CANNOT remember what kind of dressing I poured over the top. Suggestions anyone?

To Zanditoez

I Haven't a clue at this moment but I would think it would be something in the "tart" tasting line, perhaps cider vinegar, perhaps sweetened a little with ? orange juice?? Or perhaps one of the viniagrette -type dressings . Cabbage and beetroot are rather tasteless so perhaps the onion needs a bit of encouragement. Definitely not a creamy dressing though like sour cream, mayonnaise. Oh for half a brain. Good luck
