Just wondering if anyone is having as much trouble as I am finding a bra that actually fits me. With all the new , beautiful bras and bra sets now available I'd like to be able to purchase them but they don't make my size. I'm a modest aaa/aa. The only ones I can get a training bras for pre teens - yeah right!!! Theres a website in Australia selling my size but I'd have to pay NZ$120 just for one bra - no thank you. Would love to hear your experiences/views/opinions.

Golly backchat, I had no idea that a bra came in such a fitting. Why not go to a corsettiere and have professinal advice. There may be a padding which can be molded and shaped for a nice fit. My grandaughter had a breast implant done in Thailand. It is a modest B and she wants to go back for a bigger size.

Hi, this thread really interests me! I am a BBW (Big Beautiful Woman) who since being in NZ has really struggled to get pretty, sexy bras in 22DD. Yes, I have been to the major suppliers but the bras they produce are so ugly. I still like to wear pretty things: matching bra/knickers/camis, slips and nighties. Thank goodness I can go back to Aus to my favourite retailers and pick up these things. I admit I can go to catalougs and buy through the internet but part of the pleasure is actually being able to try things on, feel fabrics and have the pleasure of your partner being involved in the process. Give me face to face shopping any day for this type of purchase!

Theres a women's lingerie place in New Plymouth that holds a mens' only night a couple times a year. This is so the blokes can buy something delectable for "who ever" with out being embarrassed.

My sister, who works for Kirkaldie and Stains in the lingerie department, always stresses the importance of a woman having a bra which fits her properly. The actual fitting is free, after all, the person being fitted is a potential customer. Some places will do this ,others won't. I had my last fitting at Farmer's in Lower Hutt. Got fitted for free, and bought some new bras at sale price. It pays to get your fitting done when there is a sale on.
