Ditto from me. No one else listens to jens and he has battered us long enough. Take your wheelbarrow to another site. Yours is a lost cause for our times.

Well said Arandar. I enjoyed your 11324 post and was surprised that not all could see the irony & humour.
And an excellent point about how natgovts always strip away the good things Labgovts put in place. We hear it often but is worth repeating again - if only Muldoon had left the Super scheme in place in the 70's - a bit like this current lot - anything to gain power.

Holy Hell Doc,
Ya wrong again....
""Just ask yourself why in parks and streets in over 2,000 towns and cities across the world tens of thousands are gathering to challenge the greed of an unjust, corroded economic system""
It's....'uncountable towns and cities and tens of millions'

Cheers.

"Imagine the horror that was felt when these “bludging socialists” started building hospitals that EVERYONE could access…. appalling!! Then these ingrates started educating themselves!! Well that was never going to be acceptable….Hrumph!!"
And there it is - the problem faced by all right wing parties.
Education. The masses have been educated & are able to think for themselves, they question things, they criticise & point out unfairness.
Hence the attacks on education...

If the towns and cities are uncountable it follows ipso facto that the number of protesters must be uncountable.

Dally....
'By the fact itself' I'd thought that 'tens of millions' would have covered that, considering it was a light hearted post.
Cheers.

I think new Caption for the Royal walk should be:
"John on the way home I know a lovely little Cafe that sells really nice cream cakes and good old fashioned English tea. What do you reckon."?

Dr. Livingstone - re your posting #11328, I am concerned about exactly the same things as you, but you don't seem to understand, that by arguing in favor of a certain way out of ANY have-not poverty and excessive borrowing situation, I am not opposing, or arguing against John Key, or David Shearer, or you, or arandar - but only in favor of a realistic policy possibility.
Whatever clever or silly things these people and you and I have said or done with no connection to the subject matter, does not alter the rights or wrongs in connection with the subject matter - child poverty.
With reference to arandar - if child poverty elimination is her foremost concern, then - instead of enthusiastically examining any proposals on that subject matter, why does she seem to get upset to the point of rejecting further to-the-point discussion of it, and raising legitimate suspicions of a "hidden agenda", for which child poverty elimination is only camouflage?
No - I did not mean to insinuate arandar as a believer in the extreme Left Wing nonsense of "Property is Theft", but thought the reminder of it as essential to illustrate what unsavoury nonsense can lurk behind some determined rejection of open discussion on a matter not clearly resolved,
and preventing further examination of evidence for and against of all the propositions "on the table".

I hope you aren't insinuating that I have said 'property is theft' Jens.
I have said, over and over and over again to you, I work, I save, I own property, have owned and managed businesses, I willing pay my taxes and I support a fair and progressive tax system, and fair wages for a fair day's work.
Labour governments have initiated savings schemes for all the people to contribute to and benefit from; National governments have fought against them all, destroyed two and reduced the others.
You take every thread round in circles. Nothing any one says to you makes any difference to you. All your roads lead to the same destination. You seem to enjoy being patronizing and not a little dishonest in your remarks to me and to Belladonna too in my opinion. Any attempt at conversation with you is a waste of time and effort. Good night.
