Hero42, What do you think of my posts11001 & 11002 Would you say hidden payments to bankers to move here would cost our country years of taxpayer subsidies and would it not risk transferring wealth offshore.Creating a zero tax rating for foreign investors and further regulatory changes and cash incentives seems to me more Law For Sale.Treating New Zealand as a tax haven like the Cayman Islands how does that benefit we 99% ? John is at it again.

I am unaware of what John is up to but it does worry me from what you have posted. I shall be watching this with interest.

Also worrying is the annoucement of National slipping some extra restrictions into the labour law reforms which were not disclosed in their election manifesto.

Cheers biggrin

On a more humane note is is good to see John backing the legalisation of marriage between gay and lesbian couples.

Anyone know when he will be introducing the bill to parliament?

Cheers biggrin

Hero42, hope you are not living in hope. John Key probably just thought it was taking attention away from something else for him to back same sex marriage; he probably will never get around to doing anything about it. How much money is there to be made passing a bill like that is what you ask to get John Keys intentions.

There is no money to be made from this but there are a lot of votes available from the gay community. Given the demise of ACT and Nationals falling support I suspect John is going after any support he can find. So if it looks like he will lose the next election then I suspect this legislation will be rushed through parliament.

Cheers biggrin

Hero42, Secret deals on Tax Havens, Law for Sale brings one to mind of the trouble caused by John Keys idea. Setting up Shell companies registered in New Zealand would be one way of getting secret donations from wealthy people. It happened in BELIZE So many Shell companies were used and inside them there were more shell companies and so on. John Key needs to account for dealing in secret on this issue.Lack of honesty transparency and open governance caused The Tory Party in Great Britain in 2009 great damage especially the David Cameron brand at a time when the party was trying to escape claims that it was a haven for the rich and powerful.

Old smart fart Shearer gone bush again .The grinning Baboon must have gone with him.Poor old Shearer ,"I may do this I may do that I,m not sure what I may do, I think I will, I don't know for sure, it will have to be what my real buddy Chauvel tells me to do regarding the beautiful Gay bill, but on the other hand somebody like Jacinta might say Tut Tut and then I may do this I may do that "ad infinitum.

And what do you think of John's statement that he would support a Gay Marriage Bill?

Morgana & Hero42,
The Standard has Keys measure with His Hollow Words from a Con Man.

John Key looked the Pike River families in the eye and promised to get their mens bodies out.It was a promise he never should have made. But he did it to make people like him.He wouldn,t even talk about it today.Coward.! And what of his promise to make things right for Christchurch? Or his promise of an agressive recovery.? Or his promise to help the underclass? Or the brighter future.?
And don,t get me started on his "not being against marriage equality" This is the guy who voted against civil unions(he bravely blames that on his electorate) Now wants to jump on the Obama bandwagon. But can,t actually do it for fear of losing the rednecks.Pathetic.! Guess its a step up from "wait till my book" Good Stuff The Standard.!

John is a politician. He will say anything to be liked and to get elected. He thinks people won't remember but they do and that is why his popularity is sliding away like snow in the summer sunshine.

The heat is on and he is being seen for the flim flan man he is. Even Benny is having trouble supporting him now John has taken the correct stance on equality in our society. All Benny can do is try and deflect attention.

Cheers biggrin

Robbing Peter to pay Paul by increasing prescription charges 66% to $5.00 will hit the poor once again How do they save.$20MILLION Dollars in first year and $40 million dollars in susequent years. More creative accounting.?

So kicking our most vulnerable ill citizens & pitting the poor against $100 million is visionary eh John?

It appears that the Labour regime group of G/ups are in full throtle again it is a pity that they have to run to management when a non Labour regime person dares to mention something about their dopey Labour administration. I presume she will have my guts for garters again for saying something awful (in her eyes) but none the more truthful in reality.
